The Spirit of Shenandoah resides profoundly in those who call Shenandoah their alma mater. It also lives in the people of the greater Winchester community, who value Shenandoah for its wealth of cultural and educational resources. As a result, we rely on both of these audiences to support our mission through annual giving. A strong alumni participation rate symbolizes institutional strength and demonstrates to others that Shenandoah is a worthy investment. The fact that our community also helps us raise the necessary funds to function and thrive is a unique attribute of Shenandoah University.
The contributions people make every year to the Annual Fund are absolutely critical to our being able to operate effectively from year to year. And during The Spirit of Shenandoah campaign, we are asking our annual fund donors to consider making a gift to the campaign as well. Scholarships, new buildings, brilliant professors, academic programs and public events are possible because of the generosity of people who believe in, and depend on, Shenandoah University.
