Renovations to Armstrong HallGoal: $7 million
Beautiful music is a hallmark of Shenandoah University. In fact, Shenandoah Conservatory is the oldest of the university’s six schools. And nothing brings the community to Shenandoah the way our more than 100 public performances do each year. Shenandoah Conservatory has long provided world-class programs, educating countless performers, many of whom have gone on to brilliant careers as actors, instrumental and vocal performers, teachers, and music therapists.
Armstrong Hall, which has served the university for nearly 50 years, needs to be renovated — both to serve our students and to serve the people in our region who depend upon Shenandoah for cultural enrichment. Plans for Armstrong Hall include creating an attractive lobby and concession area, renovating the green room and constructing new dressing rooms, sound-proof classrooms, rehearsal rooms and studios.
